3 Canadian Jewelry Brands I’m Loving
When my elementary school friends and I met in Toronto, we all bought the same necklace to remind us of our trip after we returned to our various corners of the world. We picked the Puffy Heart Station Necklace in gold vermeil by Canadian brand Mejuri. While we were shopping, I realized that two of my other favorite jewelry brands are also Canadian (all available in the U.S.). Mejuri
Mejuri’s selection includes solid gold, diamonds, gemstones, sterling silver, and gold vermeil (a thicker layer of gold over a sterling silver base) jewelry.
One of my absolute favorite pieces is the Stevie Chain Necklace, which is a heavy link chain that can be layered or worn on its own. (If you like this style, they also have a bracelet, hoop earrings, and ring in sterling silver or gold vermeil).
I also have the Organic DΓ΄me Ripple Chain bracelet, another favorite that I wear all the time. I love that it’s easy to clasp with my left hand – if I have to ask for help with my bracelet, I tend not to wear it as much!

Jenny Bird makes fashion and fine jewelry, belts, and jewelry pouches in modern shapes. One of my favorite things about Jenny Bird jewelry is how lightweight they are. I have the SΓ©es Hoop Earrings (currently not available, but these are similar) and the Mila Hoop Earrings (also sold out, but the Huggie version is available at Nordstrom). And I recently bought the Double Amalfi Chain from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Dean Davidson
Dean Davidson makes bolder fashion jewelry with hand-cut semi-precious or man-made stones. Their gold jewelry is brass plated in 22k gold, and their silver jewelry is brass plated in palladium. I don’t own any of these pieces (yet), but they are ones I’m considering to build my collection of statement jewelry.

I love Mejuri and Jenny Bird. Dean Davidson is very beautiful but too bold for my taste. However, I didn’t realize they were Canadian Jewelers. Thank you for highlighting them. Also, I really enjoyed The Wedding People, too. I read it a couple of years ago when it debuted. If you like historical fiction, I highly recommend The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett.
