1. Oversized Chunky Chains
If you’re going to wear a simple chain, go bold! I bought this Dรดme Ripple Chain when I was in New York City a few months ago, and it has been my go-to bracelet for everyday outfits and special occasions. You know what persuaded me to buy it? It was easy to clasp on my own (no husband required!). Of course, I love the oversized organic shapes of the links and the high-quality sterling silver. (It’s now only available in 18K gold vermeil).

Here are some other options for chunky chain necklaces and bracelets:
2. Mariner Link Chains
If you want something smaller, but still bold, take a look at these mariner link chains. You’ll find them in single links like these 14K Solid Gold Stud Earrings, in bracelets like this affordable Sterling Silver Bracelet, and even in resin like this Amber Resin Necklace. So if you’ve been wearing delicate chains as I have and aren’t quite ready for oversized statement pieces, these styles are a great way to expand your jewelry collection.
Here are some other options you may like:
You can add this Mariner Strap Chain to your favorite handbag to dress it up!
3. Panther Chain Link
Panther chains (a flat chain with rectangular links in a staggered pattern) are also trending in 2025/2026. They’re also simple but bold, ideal for professional or evening looks.
4. Cord Necklaces
Remember the cord pendants of the ’90s? They’re back with new chunky pendants attached. There are plenty of options in black leather, but if you want something different, try a cord in a color. This is one of the most versatile jewelry trends of 2025/206 as you can wear your cord necklace as a choker, a long necklace, or even a bracelet.
5. Mixed Metals
Gone are the days when you had to choose between gold and silver. Go ahead and mix them. Or choose a piece that has a little of both. Wear your mixed metal jewelry with chocolate brown, navy blue, or dark green – all colors that look beautiful with both gold and silver.
6. Not Your Mother’s Pearls
In 2025/2026, pearl jewelry trends lean towards bold and oversized styles, often mixed with gold or stones. Wear these whenever you would usually wear your classic pearls, for an unexpected look.
7. Oversized Cuffs & Bangles
Oversized cuffs and bangles have been popular for a few years now, and continue to be one of the most popular jewelry trends of 2025/2026. They’re easy to wear, and they make a statement. My favorites are asymmetrical and organic shapes.
8. Charm Necklaces And Bracelets
We all love a personalized piece, and charms are an easy way to do that. While the traditional chinky chain charm jewelry is still trending, what’s new is chains or beaded necklaces with 1-3 charms attached to the clasp.
Aurate has some adorable New York themed charms in gold vermeil. You’ll need this necklace, and then you can add your pizza, apple, and even a MetroCard (NYC subway, in case you’re not a New Yorker!)
Note that the chain doesn’t have to be gold or silver. The latest in charm style includes stones or beads. You can also buy charm chains for your handbag!
If you’re looking for a charm necklace or bracelet that is already made for you, here are some options:
9. Brooches
Yes, brooches are back in style. Wear one on your blazer, attach it to your necklace, pin it to your fabric handbag, or use it to hold your scarf in place. I always encourage wearing what you already own, so wear that heirloom brooch you’ve had for years.
What brooch styles are trending? I’m seeing a little of everything including minimalist pins, ornate oversized ones, whimsical motifs, and vinatage-inspired ones. Wear one that suits your personality and lifestyle.
If you’re looking for something new, brooches are one of the most affordable jewelry trends for 2025/2026. Here are some options under $100:
10. Stone Necklaces
Stone beads are also trending this year, and are a fun, affordable way to add color to your jewelry stack. I’m wearing this Beaded Choker, which I like on its own or layered with gold chains.
My gold pieces were previous gifted by Monida Vinader. They are the: Triple Beaded Chain, Beaded Locket and Fine Chain.

Here are some other options for stone necklaces in a variety of styles and price points:
This Semi Precious Bead Necklace is more of an investment but it’s a stunning red 74″ necklace that can be worn in many ways.

All of these trends are great but mixed metals is my favorite!
Hi Courtney, I used to like to match all my jewelry (even to buckles or zippers), but mixing metals is so freeing! xo Nipa
