My 10 Favorite Items From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024
The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts on July 15th, and I’ve picked out 10 favorite items from the thousands of fashion, beauty, and home products they are offering this year.
If you are a cardholder, like I am, you may already have early access to the sale. If you don’t, you can preview the sale, and shop from July 15th – August 4th. On August 5th, prices go back up again.
And in case you haven’t heard of the sale, these are markdowns on new arrivals for fall and winter (rather than end of season items). You’ll be ready with a stylish new fall closet, before your summer tan fades.

Jeans
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a good time your favorite high-end jeans on sale while they still have all sizes in stock. I always look at jeans from Paige, Mother and Joe’s Jeans – I love the quality and fit of these brands but not their regular prices!
1. Favorite Jeans: Mother The Rider High Waist Ankle Slim Straight Leg Jeans to wear with my longer, bulkier sweaters.
Last year, I bought a pair of Paige Anessa High Waist Jeans – I get compliments and link requests for them all the time! My patch pocket version has sold out but this year you can buy:

Paige Anessa High Waist Raw Hem (full length, faded blue color)
If you like loose jeans, wide leg jeans are still on-trend and they look great with cropped tops and sweaters.

This year, I’m also excited to see one of my favorite (more affordable) brands, Kut From The Kloth, included in the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So, if the Mother jeans that I picked sell out, I’m considering these:

If I were taller, I would also look at these High Waist Flare Jeans and High Waist Trouser Jeans!
Boots
After getting my summer pedicure, I was not ready to look at boots, but I realized that some of my most-worn purchases from previous sales were my boots. This year, I’m looking at knee high boots which are another 90s trend that has come back around.
2. Favorite Boots: Blondo Symone Knee High Waterproof Boots to wear with skirts, dresses and skinny pants.
Last year, I bought the Blondo Tessa Waterproof Knee High Boots which have a higher heel than the Symone. They’re affordable and comfortable, so take a look at both for chic everyday boot options.
If you’re looking for shorter boots, one of my favorite styles is the Miller Boot which I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a few years ago – this 2024 update has a higher heel but the same basic style. The Blondo Mayes Waterproof Chelsea boot is another cute, affordable option.
Sweaters
I know it’s hard to think about sweaters in July, but your fall and winter self will thank you!
3. Favorite Sweater: Nordstrom Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
I bought this Nordstrom Crew Neck Cashmere sweater a few years ago and wear it tailored black pants, jeans, and skirts for work events and meetings.
I also love this Nordstrom Rib Zip Cardigan but it’s not currently avilable in my size (check for yours though!)

Handbags
Last year, I bought this Longchamp Le Pliage Expandable Tote and used almost every time I went out of town. It’s a recycled nylon tote that can be folded and packed, but the leather handles and accents make it much more chic than your ordinary travel bag.
4. Favorite Handbag: Longchamps Le Pliage Crossbody Bag to take on trips where I just need the bare essentials but don’t want to carry my Lululemon water bottle crossbody.
Jewelry
Did you know that the 2024 Anniversary Sale also includes jewelry, including one of my favorite brands; Monica Vinader? I am very tempted to get the Recycled Sterling Silver Link Bangle but I know I need to already start thinking about holiday gifts so I’m looking at some Kendra Scott jewelry for my teen daughter.
5. Favorite Jewelry: Kendra Scott Cultured Pearl Pendant
I also think she’d like this Layered Necklace.

Sleepwear
Full disclosure, my softest pajamas are my Cozy Earth ones, but they are very expensive and not on sale. My Nordstrom Moonlight pajamas are very comfortable too, and currently on sale so I’m adding a set to my to my closet. I have this long-sleeved set (also available in 1X-3X).
6. Favorite Sleepwear: Moonlight Eco-Knit Pajamas which have short sleeves and a cropped length.
There’s also a short set that comes in ten colors and prints.
Bras
Haven’t bought a new bra in a few years? I get it, they’re not easy to fit, so if you have a chance to get to a store for a proper fitting, I highly recommend it. If you can only shop online, Nordstrom has a better returns and exchanges policy than most stores. Natori bras are a favorite during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but I’ve found that they’re hit or miss for me so I’ve tried on several styles and am buying my favorites in multiple colors.
7. Favorite Bra: Natori Pure Luxe T-Shirt Bra
I also bought this Wacoal Convertible (Strapless) Bra last year and found it to be comfortable and reliable!
Socks
Once the chill sets in this fall, you’ll want some fresh cozy socks!

There’s something about designer sunglasses that elevates even the most simple outfit. A couple of years ago, I bought some Coach sunglasses (similar to these) and I get compliments every time I wear them.
