This was great, your timing could not have been more perfect. I loved all your suggestions and definitely starting at the front door is the best way to appeal
to your guests. Itโ€™s a beautiful way to showcase your home.

Thanks, Nancy! Winter in Upstate NY is cold and wet, so I try to greet our guests with a warm welcome! xo Nipa

  3. Great ideas for cozy winter welcomes to guests. Iโ€™m loving the gnome trends and that front mat is adorable as is the table runner. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Debbie. I’m loving the gnome trend too. And I’m realizing how quickly everything is selling out in our stores! Seems like everyone is shopping early! xo Nipa

I don’t decorate for Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving!!! Life goes by too fast!!!! Why rush it?!!!!

Hi Natalie, We also don’t start decorating until after Thanksgiving, but I wanted to pick up a few things so that I would be ready. That month between Christmas and Thanksgiving flies by for me! xo Nipa

  5. Love your ideas and thinking about decorating for the holidays! I think gnomes are very cute but boy they are on everything! I didnโ€™t realize Anthropologie had so many holiday decorations. I currently am decorating for Thanksgiving because that is a big holiday for us with lots of guests and have to wait until that is over to break out the Christmas stuff. I decided to decorate the table with all natural things this year-pomegranates, nuts, pine cones, apples, eucalyptus. Enjoy decorating!!

Hi Chris, I’ve been noticing gnomes everywhere too… and for every holiday! But I have a soft spot for that mat as it was a gift from my oldest kiddo, and it makes me smile every time I see it. I haven’t used it yet as our barn kittens like to leave “treats” on our doormat and I don’t want to ruin this one!!!

Love that you’re decorating for Thanksgiving with all things natural – it sounds just lovely!

      xo Nipa
