7 Rustic Fall And Winter Decor Ideas

Our house is a renovated farmhouse, so I decorate it with rustic fall and winter decor. My goal is to give our house a cozy, festive feel, without a lot of fuss, as we always have a busy schedule. 1. Dried Flowers And Branches

I tend to forget our plants and then frantically overwater them, so I am very happy in the fall when dried accents are in season! I picked up this arrangement from a local store, but if you’re shopping online, take a look at this Dried Eucalyptus Bouquet and these Preserved Leaves.

My pitcher is Mud Pie’s Pour Stoneware Pitcher. You can also use a metal pitcher, milk can, or large mason jar to give your arrangement that country feel.

I alwasy start with brown and white stems. I add orange and yellow accents for Thanksgiving, then switch them for red and gold for Christmas. Around New Year’s, I add sparkle with Glittering Branches.

2. Cozy Blankets, Throws, And Pillows

Chunky Knits

Break out your knitting needles – we’re going to make some chunky knit pillows and throws. Just kidding; I have no knitting talent, but I do know where to find some gorgeous knit accents to warm up your home.

A couple of years ago, while traveling through Massachusetts, we discovered Spencer Peterman’s Boards and Bowls. Peterman takes discarded logs and turns them into beautiful food-safe bowls and cutting boards (another holiday gift idea!) I also have a Viva Terra Root Of the Earth Bowl; another reclaimed wood favorite.

5. Wreaths

I don’t always have the time to buy a fresh wreath, so I have a few faux ones to use instead. I need a refresh this year, so here are a few rustic ones that I’m looking at for fall and winter.
