What Is Liquid Leatherβ’?
Liquid Leatherβ’ is a signature knit fabric created by Clara Sunwoo. It’s not leather or pleather, but a lightweight polyester blend with a leather-like finish. Unlike leather, Liquid Leatherβ’ is washable (see below). It’s also lightweight and wrinkle-resistant, so you can roll this jacket up in your travel bag or everyday tote.
A Few Helpful Tips To Care For Your Liquid Leatherβ’
The Liquid Leatherβ’ Signature Jacket
I’m wearing The Liquid Leatherβ’ Signature Jacket in Pink (size Small), which gives me plenty of room to wear a t-shirt or a lightweight sweater underneath. (For reference, I’m just under 5’4″ and about 125 lbs right now).
This moto-style jacket is available in 15 colors and can be worn with jeans, pants, dresses, and skirts. Wear it as your outer layer in the spring or summer, or wear it under a coat in the fall or winter.
It was also one of Oprah’s Favorite Things in 2021!

Other Lightweight Travel Jacket Styles
There are a number of other Liquid Leatherβ’ styles you can choose from:
- If you prefer a cropped style, try the Liquid Leatherβ’ Zip Cuff Moto Waist Jacket
- The Drape Neck Zip Jacket can be zipped up into an elegant funnel-neck style.
- For an edgy look, you might like the Studded Jacket.
- Prefer a blazer? Take a look at the Signature Pocket Blazer.
Add one of these lightweight jackets to your travel capsule, or when the weather is unpredictable. Roll your jacket up and tuck it away in your bag when you don’t need it.
