Comfortable Chic Fashion By Clara Sunwoo

Clara Sunwoo is a clothing brand that makes comfortable chic clothing. Clara and her daughter Roseann started the brand in 1997. They create washable, wrinkle-resistant clothing with their signature knit fabrics. The styles are classic with a twist, featuring a unique print or a flattering drape.

Comfortable Chic Dresses By Clara Sunwoo

A knit black dress is a staple for me in the fall. I’m wearing the Lightweight Ponte Tie Waist Midi Dress which is simple, chic, and can be styled in so many ways.

Ponte is a medium-weight knit fabric and this one is a buttery-soft knit fabric with plenty of stretch.

The funnel neck and midi length give you an elongated silhouette, while the belt defines your waist.

It’s versatile for work or play with a change of shoes (try sneakers, booties, or knee-length boots).

The side pockets are just the right size for chilly hands, your phone, or your favorite lipstick

Another simple midi black dress option is the Signature Mock Neck Dress. Add a wide belt, ballet flats, and your favorite jacket to complete your outfit.

Comfortable Chic Pants For Day And Night

Clara Sunwoo also kindly sent me their Ponte Kick Front Slit Pants which a very comfortable pull-on pants that are slim through the thighs and flared at the hem. I’m wearing it with the Modal Cotton Funnel Neck top for an easy daytime look. For evenings or a night out, I usually throw on a silk shirt, a sleeveless top and jacket, and some statement shoes.

If you’re looking for a pant with a more tailored look, take a look at the Woven Twill Wide Leg Trouser which has a zip front and button closure.

If you live somewhere warm, you may prefer the ultra-light polyester blend fabric of the Signature Palazzo Pants (which I’m wearing with the Tulip Cuff Shrug). I also have the Signature Side Slit Pants (and the Crossover Faux Wrap top) in the same fabric.

Liquid Leather

Clara Sunwoo has also developed a signature fabric called Liquid Leather™, a knit fabric that looks like leather. Faux leather looks are currently trending, and if you’re looking for something that is stretchy, breathable and washable, this is the “leather” for you.

I haven’t had a chance to try any of the Liquid Leather™ pieces, but I have my eye on the Signature Jacket (take a look at the figure-flattering seam details in the back).
