1. Barrel Leg / Balloon / Horseshoe Jeans
Barrel leg jeans were seen on the fashion runways at the end of 2023, but they didn’t arrive in mainstream fashion until recently. Along with balloon and horseshoe styles (which are more exaggerated shapes), they are now available at mainstream retailers. Barrel leg jeans curve out at the knees and calves and end just above the ankles. They can be high-rise or mid-rise.

You’ll want the unique shape of your barrel leg jeans to be visible, so don’t cover it up with a longer top. Wear your jeans with a cropped top or one that you can tuck in. You can wear a longer jacket, but keep the jacket open to reveal your waist. Add a belt to complete the look.
As for shoes, wear slimmer shoes that balance the volume of your jeans, like kitten heels, pointed-toe mules, or low-profile sneakers. (I’ve been wearing these sneakers all spring.)
