What Is The 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a.k.a. the NSale offers discounts on new merchandise which includes Fall/Winter 2022. It’s quite different from other sales that happen at the end of the season. The Preview allows you to browse the sale and save items to your wishlist (for which you’ll need to create a Nordstrom account and log in).

When Can You Buy Your Favorites?

Your start date for purchasing depends on your Nordy Club status, based on your net purchases on your Nordstrom card at Nordstrom over the past year. Then, the sale opens up to everyone for about two weeks regardless of whether you have a Nordstrom card or account. The dates for each level are listed below and on the Nordstrom website.

2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview: Clothing

Denim

You’ll find really good deals on denim, both affordable brands like Wit And Wisdom and designer brands like Mother. I’ve been finding that the premium brands fit better and don’t stretch out, so here are a few that I have my eye on:

Paige Cindy High Waist Straight Leg Jeans which have a 28″ inseam, 14 1/2″ leg opening, and 10 1/2″ front rise (based on a size 29) which plenty of stretch.

Kelsey Fab Ab High Waist Flare Jeans by KUT from the Kloth. The specs are 29″ inseam, 17 1/2″ leg opening, and 10 1/2″ front rise (based on a size 8). I just bought the Kelsey High Waist Double Button Wide Leg Jeans (on sale right now) and Fab Ab High Waist Raw Hem Jeans (regular price).

The Tomcat Roller Raw Hem Wide Leg Jeans by Mother which have a 30″ inseam, 24″ leg opening, and 11″ front rise (based on a size 29).

Ab-Solution Itty Bitty High Waist Flare Jeans by Wit And Wisdom have a 34″ inseam, 18″ leg opening, and 10″ front rise. My black skinny jeans from this brand were one of my go-to jeans last fall and winter.

Sweaters And Sweatshirts

Cropped Sweatshirts are still trending so check out this Open Stitch Pullover from Sweaty Betty.

This Cap Sleeve Open Knit Wrap Cardigan by rag & bone would be a great layering piece for fall.

Barefoot Dreams is an extremely popular brand, so grab a CozyChic Lite^® Circle Cardigan or CozyChic Lite® Long Cardigan before they sell out!

If you’re looking for cashmere, Nordstrom’s Signature Cashmere pieces are heavily discounted. Take a look at the Cashmere Blend Hoodie and Turtle Neck Cashmere Tunic Sweater.

Work And Dressy Pieces

Vince’s Band Collar Silk Blouse is a classic investment piece. I have a similar style silk blouse that I bought over ten years ago and still wear.

Nordstrom’s brand Open edit has some affordable workwear and dinner-date pieces like Flare Pants and a Fitted Blazer.

For my casual work needs, I’m looking at Eileen Fisher’s Sleeveless V-Neck Dress which I can dress up with a cropped blazer or dress down with a denim jacket.

Bras And Underwear

If you need to refresh your lingerie and foundation pieces, start adding these to your wishlist! Natori bras are always popular during the Nsale. I have the Bliss Perfection Bralette from last year and am considering the Underwire Contour version this year. If you’re looking for a sports bra, I think this Alo Delight Seamless Knit Bra is cute.

Boots

At last year’s sale, I bought wedge and lace-up boots that I wore on repeat (6 Comfortable Fall & Winter 2021 Shoe Trends). These styles are still trending.

Skincare And Hair Tools

I bought the T3 Lucea 1-Inch Styling Iron last year to straighten my hair or create waves. It’s easy to turn (without tangles) and glides through my hair. It also has a one-hour auto shut off which gives me peace of mind.

I’ve been using my PMD Clean Facial Cleanser with various cleaners and love that it gives me a mini-massage while gently cleaning my skin.

Clean Skincare Products

Supergoop is a highly-rated clean sunscreen brand but it is pricey. I’m adding the Super Goop Glow Duo $61 and Play Sunscreen Set to my wishlist to try them out while they’re on sale.

OSEA is another highly-rated clean skincare brand. I received their Essential Hydrating Oil (not currently available at Nordstrom)in a beauty subscription box and loved how soft it made my skin. (It also smelled divine!). You’ll find their Golden Glow Discovery Set at the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Don’t forget to shop for your home and buy gifts too.

Refresh your bathroom with this luxury Bath Towel Set and Jo Malone Candles.

• July 7th: Ambassador Nordy Club Status
• July 6th: Icon Nordy Club Status
• July 9th: Influencer Nordy Club Status
• July 15th – July 31st: Public access (no card required)

I get it, you’re reading a book by the pool, and the last thing you want to think about is fall. But here are a few reasons to browse the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview now:

1. It’s a really good time to stock up on essentials like bras and underwear, sheets and towels, jeans, t-shirts, cashmere, blazers, shoes, and more.
2. If you’re unsure about sizing, you can order two and return what you don’t need (unlike some sales which don’t allow returns).
3. If you’re shopping online, you’ll find plenty of reviews, social media posts, and blog posts to give you advice and guidance.
4. It’s not too early to start buying those holiday and birthday gifts!
