Last summer, while we were on vacation in Paris, I popped into The Kooples. I kid you not, when I say I swooned. Okay, I didn’t actually faint, but I did feel a little light headed. Between the gorgeous floral dresses, buttery leather jackets and silk blouses, I was in fashion heaven. Until, of course, I realized that everything was regular priced and out of my budget. Sigh. Thankfully, The Kooples brand is available in the U.S. (as well as in Canada and the U.K), so I waited patiently for the collections to go on sale and bought this…
The Kooples Print That Made Me Love Red And Pink
A long time ago, I decided that red and hot pink did not belong together. Despite the many designers, models, and my 9 year old daughter showing me otherwise, I was not convinced. Until I met this print! I wanted to buy the blouse, wrap dress, and skirt but I ended up with the dress because I knew I would wear it most often.
This summer, I’ll wear this dress with nude or gold sandals. Later in the year, I’ll switch to black boots and a black jacket.
You can also find this dress on Amazon but note the different prices for the different sizes. Check their size chart to figure out if you are a size 1, 2, or 3.
A multicolored floral print is very versatile. For a bold look, pick accessories in bright colors. For a more subtle look choose darker or neutral colors
