Spring Staples From J.Crew (2026)
I’ve found so many spring staples (you know, the clothes you’ll wear over and over again) at J.Crew this month! I’ll show you styling options in a future post, but I wanted to share them here before they sell out.

Dresses
If you’re looking for an easy-to-wear dress, you’ll love this Shirt-Dress. I bought the striped one, but they also have it in a floral print and a chambray. I have to admit, I saw this dress online many times, but it wasn’t until I tried it on that I realized how flattering it was. And if you’re not a fan of puff sleeves (which are trending this year again), you’ll love that this dress has simple short sleeves. I’m wearing the Regular 4, but it also comes in Petite and Tall sizes.
Wear it to work, brunch, dinner, or a party with heels, ballet flats, or sandals.

I also tried on this Smocked Sundress (in a limited edition Liberty print), but couldn’t justify another dress when I had already bought so much! If you want a shorter dress for hot weather, you might like this one.
I also bought this Linen Belted Dress, which is another figure-friendly maxi dress. I’m wearing the small in light blue. It also comes in black in Regular, Petite, and Tall sizes.
This would also be perfect for Mother’s Day brunch, work, bridal or baby showers, graduation, and other spring events.

Jackets
J.Crew’s Icon Trench is a heavy, cotton classic trench with a hood. I’m wearing size 4, which fits over a tee or thin sweater. If you want to wear heavier layers, you may need to size up in this style as it’s very fitted. It comes in Classic and Petite sizes. If your size is sold out, request a notification, as they sometimes restock these.
If you’re looking for a loose style, take a look at the New icon Trench. The fabric is more drapey, and there’s more room for layers. The color is beige, leaning towards khaki.

I didn’t really need another denim jacket, but I couldn’t resist this Pintuck Denim Jacket. I’m wearing size small, which allows me to wear a t-shirt or a fitted dress underneath. It’s a simple jacket in medium blue denim, but the pintucks make it an elevated basic.

Pants
The pants I’m wearing with my denim jacket are these very comfortable 5-Pocket Linen Blend Pants, which are a nice blend of relaxed and structured. (And no, they are not sheer, even in this light blue).
These Satin Pants were another style that I glossed over online, but when I tried them on, they were too flattering to pass up! I’m. wearing the Small Petite. It also comes in Classic and Tall sizes. My top is the Featherweight Cashmere Tee, which isn’t available online in blue, but there are a couple of other colors available if you like the style.

Tops
If spring tends to be a bit chilly where you are, you’ll love this Shrunken Cashmere T-shirt. I’m wearing the White Rose color (a cool pastel pink) in Small. If you’re petite or short-waisted like I am, this will be a good fit for you. I’m wearing my ecru jeans, but these would also look gorgeous with tailored pants for work or dinner.

I also bought this Eyelet Puff Sleeve top to wear to work events or spring dinners. It’s feminine, preppy, and edgy all at the same time!
Wear this with tailored pants, jeans, or satin pants.
Shoes
If you’re looking for fun ballet flats, I bought these Grommet Ballet Flats, which I thought were so fun. I bought my usual size 7 – they’re a little longer than my other ballet flats, so I’m going to add some gel padding in the back. I have almost-wide feet, and these werent too tight on me.
I also tried on (and loved) these Raffia Flat Slides. They were super cute, but just a little narrow for me. If you have regular or narrow feet, they’d work for you!

I love these picksโespecially the striped dress. It looks lovely on you.
