So many beautiful winter white looks! I think white in the winter is crisp and fresh! I’m so glad that the fashion rules have long since been debunked! Wear what makes you happy!

Hi Julie, from what Iโ€™ve read, the โ€œno white after Labor Dayโ€ was a rule created by a group of elite woman to distinguish themselves from women who did not have the same backgrounds. So I agree, thatโ€™s a rule that should be broken! Xo Nipa

This is a lovely post Nipa I especially like winter white because itโ€™s very classy to me. You have offered some wonderful suggestions.

Thanks, Nancy. Classy is a really good way to describe it! Xo Nipa

  3. Beautiful post. I once had a white sweater like yours in the pic and I loved it. I keep meaning to get a new one, I think it’s time. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Winter white is so pretty – but Iโ€™m too clumsy to wear it – it never stays white! I admire from afar!

Hi MelAnn, Iโ€™m pretty clumsy too – I have a bad habit of multitasking while Iโ€™m eating so I wear white sparingly! Xo Nipa

This is such a well thought out + written post, Nipa, with many helpful tips! I love white + do wear it a lot, but because of my complexion I have to stick with a smore stark white vs cream.

My current favorite winter white piece is a coat – it does feel so sophisticated.

The idea of accessorizing with white is brilliant, by the way!

    1. Fashionipa says:

Hi Kristy, Thank you! I think we have the same color needs (I think youโ€™re a Winter like me) so I pick the lightest shades of winter white, like off-white or pearl rather than creams and vanillas. I used to only wear bright white too, but lately I lean towards softer colors. Iโ€™ll have to figure out why that is!? Xo Nipa
