7 Fashion Jewelry Trends For The Minimalist
While weโve been dressing down for our pandemic and post-pandemic lifestyle, some of us (ahem, guilty) have tucked away our jewelry collections. But jewelry is a beautiful finishing touch and can add a little elegance to the most casual outfits. Here are some minimalist jewelry trends that you can wear with your work-from-home outfits and your loungewear. The good news is that jewelry trends donโt change as much as fashion trends do, so you may already own some of these pieces…

1. Sculpted Hoops & Rings
Hoops and band rings are about as classic as jewelry can be. This year, Iโm seeing some sculpted variations that are simple, but not definitely not boring! My ring is from a local jewelry store that doesnโt have an online shop, but Monica Vinader’s Gaia Ring is similar.

Looking for earrings? Then, take a look at these Kendra Scott Quinn Huggie Earrings available at Amazon.
If you prefer fine jewelry, take a look at Aurate’s Smooth Arch Ring and Small Gold Chunky Hinged Hoops. You can have them custom-made in solid gold.
2. Chains & Paper Clips
The chunky chains that I mentioned in my 5 Iconic Jewelry Styles post are still very much on-trend. But youโll also find minimalist chain jewelry, sometimes known as paperclip chains! Mine is Machete’s Petite Paperclip Chain.

3. Silver Minimalist Jewelry
I always recommend choosing your jewelry color based on your skin tone, but it seems the fashion runways have declared silver the jewelry color of the year! I love sterling silver for everyday jewelry, and often wear multiple mini studs that I donโt have to take off when I sleep. Maison Miru is a small business based in NYC that has a great selection of tiny stud earrings.
And, while Iโm talking about small jewelry businesses, I have to mention Adorn Jewelry And Accessories. I ordered three pairs of earrings from the company during the holidays, and when I unpacked the box, I received the loveliest handwritten note from the designer. She wrote that I had placed my order just before she had started a promotion, and she wanted to give me a partial refund to reflect the promotional price. It was such a sweet gesture, one I wonโt soon forget! I bought the Pretty Petals, Ginkgo Tiny Post, and Heart Post earrings as gifts.
4. Pearls
Pearls have made a recent comeback and work perfectly with this yearโs Bridgestone-inspired romantic dresses. For your casual outfits, try coin pearls (exactly what they sound like; flat round pearls) or organic pearls (uneven shapes). Both have a much more relaxed look than traditional pearls).
My coin earrings are from Banana Republic (last year), but Adornโs Freshwater Coin Pearl Earrings are similar and very affordable.

I also love Aurateโs Pearl Drop Pendant pendant and Ableโs Pearl Drop Chain earrings.
5. Colorful Beads
We also saw a lot of colorful beaded jewelry on the fashion runways this year, reminiscent of the jewelry that we once wore on tropical beach vacations! Bring those vacation vibes home with beaded and wrapped bracelets.

Take a look at Victoria Emerson’s Merlot on Natural for the fall or Cabo for the summer.
6. Bangles
As much as I love delicate chain bracelets, I never find the time to fuss with clasps. Bangles and cuffs are much easier to put on and take off than the twenty times a day that we need to wash our hands!
Mine is Madewell’s glider bangle. It has sold out but Kate Spade’s Metal Hinged Bracelet is similar. Monica Vinader’s Essential Hinged Bracelet is a sustainable gold vermeil version.

You may also like the Organic Round Bangle from Thirty One Bits. It’s simple and sweet.
7. Personalized Pendants
Initial charms and pendants are always popular for everyday wear or gifts. Moon and Meadow’s Initial Charm pendant comes in solid 14K gold.
Irons Victoriaโs Mini Letter Pendant would make a lovely Mother’s Day gift!
I also love Zoe Chicco’s Itty Bitty Letter Necklace which has an off-center letter.
I haven’t bought jewelry from all the brands I listed, but they all have great reviews. Do you have a favorite minimalist jewelry trend or brand? Let me know in the comments below!

Bangles are my favorite. I can never have too many bracelets!
Hi Jennifer, I love the look of delicate chains but never have the time or help to put them on, so I wear bangles much more often. Thanks for reading my post! xo Nipa
These are nice pieces of minimal jewelry. I truly like wearing hoop earrings a lot.
Hi Tammy, Hoops are so classic! Xo Nipa
Nice jewelry! I lovve a good pair of hoops, but this post reminded me of how much I adore pearls. I find it hard to incorporate them in casual outfits though (which is my everyday wardrobe).
Hi Crystal, Thatโs why I love the new โorganicโ uneven shapes in pearl jewelry. They look more casual and are often inexpensive, so theyโre ideal for every day casual outfits. Xo Nipa
These are such cute options! Stirling silver is usually my go-to for every day jewelry (usually a simple necklace). Goes with just about everything, doesn’t require much thought.
Mine too, though I tend to wear earrings more often than necklaces. Xo Nipa
Lovely jewelry! For me, pearl is always classy and elegant! I’d also like to try the customized pendant and bangles. These look so beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
