5 Iconic Jewelry Styles To Buy Now
As I was looking online for fall jewelry trends, I realized that so many of them are inspired by iconic jewelry. If you’ve ever walked along Fifth Avenue in New York, or wandered around the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, you’ve probably seen these jewelry styles in the windows of stores like Cartier and Tiffany & Co. Here are five of these styles, and the affordable versions that I have found.
1. Chain Link Bracelets And Necklaces
Tiffany & Co. is known for many iconic jewelry styles, one of which is their Heart Tag Charm Bracelet. The chunky sterling silver chain bracelet is simple but bold, and the charm can be engraved.
If the Tiffany & Co. version isn’t in your budget, there are plenty of affordable options in-store and online. Chunky chain bracelets and necklaces are a huge trend this season.

$ Argento Vivo’s Chain Line Bracelet comes in both gold and silver.
$$ Alexis Bittar’s Crystal-Encrusted Mesh Soft Chain Link bracelet mixes gold and silver, as well as two textures.
$$$ This Jane Basch Initial Locket Chain Link Bracelet is simple and classic.
If you prefer a chain link necklace, take a look at these:
$ The Kooples Chain Link Toggle Necklace is currently 60% off (at time of writing).
$$ This J.Crew Enamel Link Necklace is perfect for those who love colorful jewelry.
$$$ Rachel Comey Lume Necklace is simple and chic.
2. Gold Bangles
One of Cartier’s most iconic jewelry styles is the Love Bracelet, a smooth band of gold, with screw motifs (yes, as in nails and screws) along the center. This gorgeous bangle is $4,500. You’ll find plenty of affordable bangles that emulate this classic style.
$ For a clean look take a look at J.Crew’s Hinge Bracelet which comes in gold, rose gold and silver, and is under $20.
$ If you like a little sparkle, try Kate Spade’s Crystal Hinge Bangle.
$$ Tory Burch’s Logo Bangle has a similar feel to the Cartier style.
Wear these alone or stacked with other bangles, chain bracelets or beads.
3. Crystal Drop Earrings
If you’ve ever watched a Hollywood Red Carpet show, you’ll have seen celebrities adorned with Harry Winston diamond earrings. You’ll find plenty of crystal imitations in stores and online this year, especially as the holiday season approaches.
$ J.Crew’s Pave Feather Chain Earrings come in clear crystal and colored crystal options.
$ Nadri always has a large selection of affordable crystal drop pieces like these Leverback Earrings.
$$ Adriana Orsini also has a few different crystal drop earrings, including these Dangle Drop ones available at Saks Fifth Avenue.
4. Colorful Bangles
Hermรจs is best known for its gorgeous silk scarves but this iconic fashion house also makes beautiful enamel bracelets. I haven’t found anything as detailed as the Hermรจs bracelets, but I’ve found lots of solid and one striped option.
$ Kate Spade’s Spade Thin Bangle comes in four colors.
$ Ann Taylor’s Horsebit Bracelet has an equestrian feel like the Hermรจs bracelets.
$$ Tory Burch’s Raised Logo Enamel bracelet comes in three different striped versions.
For other bangle options in fun bold colors, take a look at these:

$ I opted for a colored animal print bangle from Ann Taylor. I found this one in-store, but you can buy the Zebra Print Bangle online.
$$ This France Valentine Tiger Hinge Bracelet is so clever and whimsical. If you prefer a leopard print, there’s something for you too!
5. Floral Statement Jewelry
The latest bold floral statement earrings remind me of Bulgari Floral Jewelry. Their three-dimension flowers are intricate and beautiful.
My floral earrings are a pair of Elizabeth Cole earrings that I found at Banana Republic a year or so ago. These are no longer available but you’ll find plenty of bright, bold floral options on her website.

$ These J.Crew Embroidered Floral Leather-Backed Earrings are a similar size and shape. I also love their Floral Colorful Hoop Earrings.
$$ For a bold ring (also a fall trend) take a look at this Frances Valentine Emerald Flower Ring.
Honorable Mention For Iconic Jewelry Styles
I also have to mention the Van Cleef And Arpels Alhambraยฎ motif which is inspired by the four-leaf clover. I only found one similar style; Ann Taylor’s Mixed Metal Flower Drop Earrings (perfect for those of us who are reluctant to mix metals!)
You may be wondering why I didn’t include the classic string of pearls in my list of iconic jewelry styles. Well, I had so much to say about pearls that I’m going to dedicate an entire post to them. Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter so that you can be the first to see that post!

I just love these pieces and as I was looking through the post and at your choices, I realized I have a lot of similar pieces that I inherited and I need to go through the box to see what I should be wearing! And your animal-print bangle is gorgeous! Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Hi Ruth! Thank you, I love that the clasp is so easy to close. I’ve abandoned quite a few delicate bracelets that required too much effort to put on! xo Nipa
I love that chain bracelet. Those simple classics are my favorites.
Thank you, Julie! Mine too. xo Nipa
Love the crystal earrings trend! The J. Crew pair is gorgeous, just huge haha! I’ve been lusting after a Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra necklace for years.
Hi Alix, Huge earrings are in style! I don’t wear them often, but every now and then I like to make a bold statement! xo Nipa
I love cuff bracelets – I have so many of them.
Hi Amanda, Me too, I never have the patience do the clasps on multiple bracelets so cuffs give me an easy way to layer bracelets! Xo Nipa
I LOVE chain link necklaces! I used to wear them wherever I went a few years ago, and even though I don’t go out really anymore, I still have them because they’re just so cool. I should really start dressing up again so I can wear them!
Hi Indya, I wore my chain link necklace last night to a casual dinner and it just made my outfit look so much more interesting. Donโt wait for a dress up event!! Xo Nipa
I have to admit the chain link bracelet is my โค๏ธ Definitely an iconic piece and I love that it can come with an engraved charm! Iโm also fond of the floral statement piece ?
Hi Rebecca, I was never very good at layering delicate necklaces (too many tangles) so I love these bolder trends! Xo Nipa
I love jewelry! My favorite was the J.Crewโs Pave Feather Chain Earrings. I don’t have anything like that so I need to add it to my collection.
Hi Melissa, Those ones are a great choice! Iโm thinking about buying them too! Xo Nipa
