3 Winter Fashion Sneakers (That Are Comfortable and Chic)
Most winters, I wear my entire boot collection, from my insulated snow boots for outdoor activities to my snakeskin heels for date nights. This winter, I’m usually at home, in the car, or racing through the grocery store, so I’ve been looking for more winter fashion sneakers to replace my boots. Here are 3 that I’ve found that are on-trend, comfortable, and versatile…
Leather Slip-On Sneakers
I love the convenience of slip-on shoes, not because I’m too lazy for zippers and laces, but because my hands always seem to be full! Often, I find that slip-on shoes either have no arch support or they look a bit dowdy. So when I found the Dinora Platform Slip-on Sneaker I did a little happy dance!
This sneaker style has the polished look of a loafer with the comfort of a fashion sneaker. The platform heel means you don’t have to shorten the pants that you usually wear with heeled boots. There’s also has plenty of cushioning (unlike many flat shoes). The Dinora sneakers are made in leather which is easier than suede or canvas to keep clean. I chose black but they are also available in snakeskin or metallic gold.

I’ve avoided white sneakers for years as the thought of keeping them clean gave me nightmares. So how did they end up on my winter fashion sneakers list? Fur-Trimmed Sneaker Bootie
High Top Sneakers (think Converse) have been an ongoing trend, but I can’t help thinking they’re for kids and teens. So I’ve been on the lookout for some high top sneakers that look a bit more sophisticated. I have to credit this pair to one of my favorite influencers @jolynneshane. She featured them in one of her What I Wore Lately posts, and I thought they would be perfect to wear with my new shacket! I love the versatility of this boot style. You can wear it fully zipped as an ankle boot, half-zipped as a fur-trimmed bootie, or unzipped. The color is a cool tan which is so refreshing, as I find most tan shoes and clothing to have strong yellow undertones that don’t flatter cooler skin tones. They may be a little more high maintenance as they are a light-colored suede, but I plan to spray them with a suede protector. I have Kiwi Select All Protector, but now that I’m a little more aware of toxicity in products, I’m planning to switch to Jak Snow’s Magic Spray which is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
