  1. Great breakdown. I completely agree with your points. With shoes, you absolutely get what you pay for and you don’t want to be skipping out on your athletic shoes. I recommend getting a comprehensive gait evaluation done by a podiatrist and physiatrist before investing in proper shoes as they can really tell you what is going on (if you have twerk, pronation, to what degree, etc). As an athlete, getting an evaluation from a doctor was a game changer.
