3 New Animal Prints You Haven’t Seen Everywhere

Animal prints always seem to be in style, and this year is no exception. As fall approaches, you’ll see plenty of the traditional prints like leopard, snakeskin, and zebra. But if you’re looking for something a little different, take a look at these new animal prints…

1. Traditional Prints In Wild Colors

If you have enough of animal prints in their natural colors, take a look at these wild colors!

This Leopard Ruffle Wrap Dress is from Banana Republic. It’s actually a faux-wrap so it’s both work-appropriate (less chance of gaping and revealing too much) and dinner date-worthy. You can also find this dress in blue. Both colors are currently available in regular, tall and petite.

If the dress doesn’t work for you, try the Sheer Leopard Peasant Top, the Leopard Tie-Hem Top or the Leopard Midi Slip Skirt (which comes in a deep yellow.)

2. Animal Graphics

Another fresh take on animal prints is animal graphics. Perhaps inspired by the Gucci Giraffe Print pieces, many brands are featuring the entire animal in their prints. My top is the Padua Tee from Anthropologie.

For cooler nights, take a look at this Nic + Zoe Zebra Crossing Cardigan!

If you’re not sure about this wild animal trend, you can start with these Giraffe Ankle Socks.

For something more subtle, take a look at Top Shop’s Tiger Graphic Tee. If you like a little action, this Free People We The Free Animal Tee features a leaping tiger.

3. Patchwork Animal Prints

I’ve also been seeing some patchwork style animal prints that I think are unique!

I love Equipment’s Slim Signature Two Tone Animal Print Silk Blend Shirt which mixes two shades of leopard.

Gibson’s Safari Popover Wide Leg Jumpsuit is a patchwork zebra-inspired print. I think their abstract zebra print (zebra meets tiger) is fun!

If you’re looking for some wild sneakers, take a look at Free People’s Gwen Animal Sneakers, which combines zebra, tiger, and neon colors!

    Nippa, I love these alternative animal prints. Love the top you linked in that pink print and the button down in at two tone animal print. Pricey, but soooo pretty.
