Summer Tank Dress Styles
Athletic Tank Dresses
If you’re looking for athleisure-style dresses, take a look at Athleta’s Seasoft Ribbed Mini Tank Dress in a machine-washable polyester, TENCELβ’ Modal and Spandex blend.
How to style: Just add your favorite white sneakers for an active day, or Birkenstocks for a relaxed one.
Casual Tank Dresses
I’m wearing an Eileen Fisher cotton jersey tank dress (in the color Iris, size PS). This style has sold out, but they currently have a longer, loose tank dress.

If you prefer a crisp fabric, take a look at Madewell’s Linen Dress.
How to style: Wear your favorite summer sandals or wedges. Add a wrap or cuff bracelet. Don’t forget your sunglasses or a hat.
Dressy Tank Dresses
Tank dresses tend to be casual, but you’ll also find a few that you can wear to work, to dinner, or to a party.
Eileen Fisher has a beautiful Jewel Neck Silk Dress. Note that their sizes tend to run big so check the size chart.
How to style: Add a lightweight cashmere wrap, heels, a gold clutch, and jewelry.

What If You Want To Cover Up Your Arms?
If you want to cover your arms, consider adding a lightweight jacket or shirt over your dress. My eyelet blouse is from & Other Stories from last year and is shaped like a jacket.

You could also wear an oversized cotton or linen button-down shirt, tied at the waist. Just make sure your dress is fitted so that you don’t have excess fabric underneath the tied waist. Or try a cropped cardigan.
