2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview & My Wishlist

The 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (a.k.a. the NSale) Preview is live! This sale is unlike any other, as it includes merchandise from the upcoming fall season, rather than the summer items that you’ve seen in the past couple of months. So you’ll have new outfits at the beginning of fall, but you won’t have paid full price for them! I’ve been shopping this sale online for several years now, so I’ll share some tips to make the most of your time and budget.

But first, here are the dates you need to know:

2025 SALE PREVIEW

Available to everyone: June 26th, 2025, 12 pm EST

CARD MEMBER EARLY ACCESS

Icons (cardholders who spend $15,000+ per year): July 8-11, 2025

Ambassadors (cardholders who spend $5,000+ per year): July 9-11, 2025

Influencers (all other cardholders): July 10-11, 2025

ANNIVERSARY SALE

Everyone: July 12th-August 3rd

If you don’t have the Nordstrom card, you can apply for a free membership for the Nordy Club, which enables you to earn points and get 2-day free shipping (available in select areas). How To Preview The 2025 Sale Without Overwhelm

With 6,000+ items on sale, it can be overwhelming to find what you want and need. So here are my tips from several years of shopping this sale (and making plenty of mistakes!)

Wishlist & Shopping Tips

  • First, and foremost, know what you already own, and your budget for the season. Then, before you even look at the sale preview, make a list of what you want (and what you don’t want – so you’re not distracted).
  • While shopping in-store can be fun and helpful for to figure out sizes, it’s easier to find what you need and want online by filtering the choices. Filter out what you can’t afford, and the categories you don’t need to shop.
  • Popular items sell out quickly, so if you love something, don’t hesitate.
  • Take advantage of 2-day shipping, especially if you aren’t sure of sizing and may need to exchange items.
  • Add multiple options to your wishlist (i.e., two black jackets) in case one sells out.

My Wishlist From The 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I’ve already spent a few hours looking through women’s fashion in the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview, and these are the items I’m adding to my wishlist. Please note that you can only put these items into a wishlist until it’s your turn to shop!

Tops And Sweaters

Cardigans are a staple for most of the year, so I always look out for them during the NSale. The most popular cardigans right now are cropped or V-neck (or both). Cashmere sweaters are always a good investment, and this year you’ll find them in short-sleeved and cap-sleeved styles (as well as the usual long-sleeved ones).

I also like to replace worn-out or stained t-shirts and blouses during the sale.

Jeans

The Anniversary Sale is a good time to look at your jeans collection and replace any that no longer fit or look dated. I always buy at least a pair or two of designer jeans that I would not pay full price for, as I find that they fit better and last longer. In terms of styling, I’m seeing wide leg, flared, slim leg, cropped, and bootcut styles. Jeans, these days, are very personal, so choose what works for your body.

Coats And Jackets

I know it’s hard to think about coats and warm jackets over the summer, but if you look through your coat closet and see any gaps, this is a good time to fill them. I don’t own any leather jackets, my trench coat is over ten years old, and I can always use denim jackets, so I’ve added a few of each to my wishlist.

Bras, Underwear, Sleepwear, And Socks

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is a good time to refresh your pajamas, socks, and underwear. Just a heads up – some of the underwear is handwash or hang to dry only – which for me, is a deal-breaker. Check the fine print, if you’re like me!

Other Styles You May Want To Add…

I would add these plush slipper to my wishlist, but I know they will end up in our dog’s mouth in a matter of minutes, so I’m going to refrain! But if you don’t have a crazy pup, you may want to add them to your cart!

Two years ago, I bought Nordstrom’s Long Sleeved Eco-Knit (91% Tencel® modal, 9% spandex) Moonlight Pajamas. It’s a very comfortable pajama set that hasn’t faded or shrunk after washing. Nordstrom also makes Eco-Knit Short Sleeve Pajamas and Eco-Knit Cropped Pajamas.

Dresses & Skirts

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale doesn’t often include a large selection of dresses and skirts, but there are always a few that are perfect for fall events.
