Laundry And Leather Care
Let’s start with the essentials! During the 2023 NSale, I bought two bottles of Nordstrom’s Delicate Fabric Wash to hand wash lingerie, silk clothing, and other fragile clothing. I was very disappointed when they didn’t offer it last year, as it worked so well. This year it’s back in Lavender and Unscented. I’m putting both on my wishlist!
To protect my shoes and bags, I’m adding this Jason Markk Stain and Water Repellent to my wishlist. It’s a non-aerosol, water-based, odorless, colorless spray that is free of toxic chemicals like VOC, PFOA, PFAS, and PFCs. You can use it on leather, suede, nubuck, nylon, canvas, and cotton (but not vegetable-tanned leather or untreated leather).
I’m also adding this Leather Balm to my wishlist for a leather handbag that faded in the sun. I haven’t tried either of these products yet, so use with caution (test in a small area) – both have mostly positive reviews on the Nordstrom website, but there was one complaint about the repellent.
Kitchen And Tabletop
The 2025 Home Sale includes Our Place’s 13-piece Cookware Set in Vanilla Bean. I have had the Always Pan for several years, and I use it for stir-frying, sautéing, and steaming (steamer basket included). It’s a highly-rated, ceramic-coated pan and is included in this set of 4 pots and pans.
Our Place’s Wonder Oven (air fryer) is also available at the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Home Sale.. Our daughter received one for Christmas and uses it constantly for toasting, air frying, and baking!
This 20″ Butcher Block Prep Board is another clever option, a must-have with three one-cup indents to store what you chop. If you prefer a flat surface, flip it over.
Bedding And Bath
